Biography

Jason Sorel is a multi-faceted attorney who has represented clients in numerous areas of law during his career. Raised in Wilkes County, he graduated from Appalachian State University with magna cum laude honors and subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor at Appalachian School of Law in 2008, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Natural Resources Law Journal.

After graduating law school, Jason spent 10 years at a boutique law firm as a partner before joining another firm where he headed the workers’ compensation claims department earning his clients several million dollars in settlement awards. Missing the diverse law practice that boutique firms offer, Jason joined The Law Office of Justin M. Dingee, PLLC in 2020 making it one of the most comprehensive law firms in Northwest North Carolina. His experience and versatility are invaluable to clients who do not know how to navigate the legal system and need a strong, effective advocate to fight for them.

Outside of the office, Jason resides in Winston-Salem with his wife, Lauren, and two sons. He is an avid runner and loves the great craft beers that North Carolina produces.
